Senior Optical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Optical Engineer to join their research and development team in designing and assessing optical biosensor architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver executive presentations on technical status and risks
• Plan the roadmap for optical biosensor systems
• Deliver innovative optical biosensor solutions to the product team

Required Qualifications

• MS/PhD degree in Biomedical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 10 years of related working experience
• Proficient in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or similar tools
• Strong electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in electrical design
• Familiarity with optical simulation packages and knowledge of light transport in biological tissue
