A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate, prepare, and complete multi-state payroll using Workday
- Lead the payroll team to ensure timely completion of payroll tasks
- Perform internal audits and resolve payroll tax notices in a timely manner
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- At least four years of experience in multi-state payroll for 5,000 or more employees
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
- Experience with ADP Smart Compliance and Workday
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing regulations
