Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their remote Platform Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reliable systems using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and GCP
• Collaborate across teams to identify development lifecycle pain points and build tools for improved efficiency
• Champion system reliability by optimizing performance, monitoring systems, and leading incident response efforts

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one core language (GO, Node/Typescript) for operational efficiency
• Experience guiding and mentoring engineers on high-scale, distributed software systems
• Technical lead experience on large projects
• Direct usage of SQL and general database administration knowledge
• Experience contributing to automated build and deployment systems
