Senior Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer with security clearance required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform DevOps and SRE duties for Big Data on open-source platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Trino, and Snowflake
• Monitor platforms and manage application problems according to runbooks/SOPs
• Deploy new cloud-based environments (FedRamp) to support workloads

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and security clearance
• 12+ years in DevOps, Software Engineering, or related experience
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
• Knowledge of IAC, containerization, orchestration tools (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Ability to work on multiple projects and facilitate technical design sessions
