Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build backend systems for energy management software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of backend systems for evaluating eligibility and managing enrollment in energy programs
• Work with structured data in PostgreSQL to apply domain logic for customer workflows
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to translate program logic into software

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building backend systems in production environments
• Strong expertise in Python and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker)
• Experience with eligibility, enrollment, or workflow automation systems is a plus
• Passion for clean energy or decarbonization is a strong bonus
