Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead and elevate engineering teams across their Lead Platform products.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage team innovation with new technologies and manage proof of concept presentations
• Collaborate with other directors and tech leads to validate feature proposals and drive system improvements
• Develop engineers through personal development plans and manage the team's technical strategy and roadmap

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or 3 years of equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience managing high-performance engineering teams
• Experience with modern, high-traffic applications and backend services, preferably using Node/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of project management software, preferably Jira
• Experience working in Agile environments with a strong grasp of SDLC and continuous delivery
