Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter to manage a complex portfolio of group and individual business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end underwriting process, including risk evaluation, pricing, and portfolio management
• Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders and external partners
• Analyze underwriting risk and determine premium rates for fully insured contracts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
• 5+ years of experience in a related field, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Deep understanding of insurance products and underwriting guidelines
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex risk profiles
• Experience with underwriting processes and regulatory requirements in group and individual markets
