Senior Underwriting Data Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriting Data Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and develop data analytics solutions to support underwriting departments
• Develop advanced data and reporting solutions, including dashboards and ad hoc reporting
• Lead upgrades and rollouts of data and analytic applications while monitoring performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• Three or more years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in property and casualty insurance
• In-depth knowledge of insurance business functions and underwriting processes
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as Power BI, SAS, SQL, Excel, Python, and R
• Experience with advanced business intelligence tools and concepts
