Senior VoIP Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior VOIP Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for SIP and TOM based soft switch translations and features
• Prepare design specification plans and evaluate compliance with infrastructure standards
• Plan network capacity, troubleshoot existing networks, and provide off-hour support as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of seven years' experience in a Class 4 or 5 TOM/Soft Switch environment
• CCNA or comparable data network certification is a plus
• Experience with hosted and cloud-based voice applications and services
• Understanding of VoIP protocols and network monitoring tools
