Sign Language Interpreter Apprentice

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interpreter Apprentice to provide quality professional Sign Language interpreting through video.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service for consumers
• Support and model the company's mission and values while delivering excellent customer service
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and FCC regulations while maintaining professional behavior

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in ASL and spoken English language skills
• Able to provide accurate interpretation and understand Deaf culture
• Knowledge of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Three to five years of experience in interpreting is preferred but not required
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
