Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer to support U.S. Federal Government contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope and design new products and features in collaboration with product management
• Schedule and estimate software project tasks
• Develop software with a focus on quality and automation, ensuring performance and scalability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in application development using OO design principles in languages such as C++, Java, or C#
• Solid understanding of Algorithmic Thinking and Software Development principles
• Working knowledge of API Development, including REST and SOAP
• Experience with Source Control Management tools like Git
