Software Development Engineer, DevOps

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer, DevOps - Lifecycle Platform (US Federal).

Key Responsibilities

• Build, run, and deploy large-scale, fault-tolerant systems using private cloud technology and public cloud platforms
• Focus on scalability, availability, automation, performance, and security of distributed web services
• Participate in on-call rotation and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver next-generation applications and services

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience with services and tooling in languages such as Go, Python, or Java
• 2+ years of SRE/DevOps experience
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes for automating deployment and management of containerized applications
• 2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, specifically AWS or GCP
• A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
