Software Development Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer III, Map Data Publication.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement a new data publication service for 3D/HD data for self-driving vehicles
• Expand data publication for ADAS and Navigation map data in new formats
• Code and implement data processing and conversion within cloud applications using technologies like Python, SQL, AWS, and Spark

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or similar programming languages for data processing
• Experience deploying data pipelines within scalable cloud applications, preferably on AWS and Spark
• Strong understanding of geospatial data concepts and tools (PostGIS, QGIS)
• Knowledge of map data formats such as GeoJSON and OpenDRIVE is a plus
• Availability for early morning collaboration with teams in Europe
