Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of enhancements and features for the Teradata Vantage Core Platform
• Conduct competitive analysis of database systems and provide recommendations to enhance offerings
• Design, implement, validate, and test new database features and perform functional and performance analysis of code defects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with at least three years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in the same fields
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, R, and SQL
• Experience with system development and debugging in a parallel processing environment
• Familiarity with various database technologies and Agile software development methods
• Strong foundation in object-oriented design and design patterns
