Software Engineer (Packaging)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer (Packaging).

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain patches for remediation of CVEs
• Debug and resolve issues related to Linux and container image builds
• Collaborate with various engineering teams and improve the quality of existing packages and images

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience working with Linux
• Experience packaging software as Linux packages (e.g., APK, RPM)
• Experience building and debugging container images
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm charts
• Programming experience in at least one language
