Software Engineer with wmA Expertise

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer - Vantage One/wmA/Mainframe.

Key Responsibilities

• Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents moderately complex programs
• Designs systems and programs to meet complex business needs and prepares detailed specifications
• Develops test plans, conducts quality assurance activities, and assists in resolving program problems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field preferred
• Six or more years of programming or testing experience
• Experience with Wealth Management Accelerator (wmA) / VANTAGE-ONE policy administration systems
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and relational databases
• Experience in the life insurance industry and with Life & Annuity policy administration systems
