A company is looking for an Order Entry Certified Pharmacy Technician I.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and process incoming prescription orders accurately using the Guardian computer system
- Verify insurance coverage and update patient and doctor information as needed
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and front-end partners to ensure timely medication shipping
Required Qualifications
- Certification from NPTCB and ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License in dispensing states
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy abbreviations
- One year of relevant work experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills and typing skills of 30-50 wpm
