Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to provide comprehensive support to the finance team in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to a timely month-end close, ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Manage the vendor payment process and oversee the company credit card process
• Prepare and record payroll journal entries and assist with 1099 tax filings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in multi-entity companies
• Solid knowledge of GAAP financial and accounting principles
• Experience with Concur SAP preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
