Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to lead their Unified Data Platform backend enablement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, architect, develop, and test software systems to optimize business processes
• Gather customer requirements and create high-level architecture while analyzing current operational procedures
• Review system capabilities and oversee the evolution of the enterprise data strategy and capabilities

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or a bachelor's degree with additional experience
• 3 years of data warehousing development and design experience, or 5 years with a bachelor's degree
• Experience with analytical solutions in relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2
• 3 years of experience developing complex ETL processes (SSIS), including 1 year with Azure Data Bricks, Python, and C#
• 1 year of experience leading a development team
