Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to define the technical strategy for enterprise data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide architectural leadership across data engineering teams and systems
• Design and connect data systems to deliver high-quality data across teams
• Partner with stakeholders to enhance the data stack and support data governance

Required Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of experience in data architecture or engineering, focusing on enterprise data systems
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake
• 3+ years of experience with data transformation frameworks, preferably dbt
• Experience in building cloud-based data solutions in an Agile environment
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security practices, and compliance frameworks
