Staff Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Machine Learning Scientist to lead the development of machine learning capabilities in the payments space.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop ML models and capabilities throughout the ML development lifecycle
• Build ML solutions addressing customer challenges in payments, including risk and fraud
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify model development opportunities and ensure compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science or machine learning engineering in financial services or payments
• 6+ years of expertise in building and operating large-scale, customer-facing ML capabilities
• Strong understanding of ML techniques and MLOps, particularly with AWS Sagemaker
• High ethical standards and commitment to a strong culture
• BS degree preferred
