Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Ozone/HDFS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement core features of Apache Ozone and Apache Ratis
• Contribute code and design documentation to the Apache open-source community
• Support enterprise customers with large-scale data analytics and ML/AI pipelines

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science with 4-6 years of experience
• Strong backend engineering skills in Java or C++ with intermediate Java skills
• Experience in large-scale distributed systems design and development
• Knowledge of system software design and computer architecture
• Experience with distributed storage systems or performance tuning is preferred
