Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement high-performance systems for deploying and serving large language models and multimodal AI
• Design scalable infrastructure for model inference, fine-tuning, and evaluation
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and long-term AI infrastructure strategy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of software development experience with a strong foundation in software engineering skills and design patterns
• Extensive expertise in Python; optional experience in TypeScript and front-end technologies like React
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI alignment, or AI safety techniques
• Background in MLOps, including model deployment pipelines and monitoring infrastructure
