State Advocacy Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a State Advocacy Manager to support health justice campaigns and community advocacy efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate communication and learning activities among advocates
• Develop strategic advocacy plans with state advocates and provide tailored coaching
• Support program leadership with administrative tasks and event planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus at least 3 years of experience in leading state-wide issue campaigns or 5 years of relevant work experience
• Proven skills in community organizing, relationship management, and group facilitation
• Experience in social change activism, including legislative advocacy and community organizing
• Demonstrated commitment to health justice, equity, and racial justice
• Ability to travel 2-3 times per year
