Job Summary

A company is looking for a GWTG Stroke Data Abstractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply specialized clinical knowledge to categorize, code, summarize, and interpret patient medical records
• Ensure quality submission of data in registries, maintaining high accuracy
• Navigate technical systems and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of direct abstraction experience in the Get With the Guidelines Stroke registry
• Exposure to multiple patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications
• Direct clinical experience is preferred
• RN or LPN credentials are a plus
