Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Team Assistant to support the underwriting process and manage account documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and resolve discrepancies in policies, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Review and process policy servicing requests and manage file documentation
  • Invoice and process new business and renewal binders according to guidelines
Required Qualifications
  • One year of wholesale insurance experience
  • State specific Insurance License
  • Experience as an underwriting clerk or three years of general insurance experience
  • Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
  • Ability to use carrier software and maintain industry knowledge
