A company is looking for an Underwriting Team Assistant to support the underwriting process and manage account documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and resolve discrepancies in policies, endorsements, and cancellations
- Review and process policy servicing requests and manage file documentation
- Invoice and process new business and renewal binders according to guidelines
Required Qualifications
- One year of wholesale insurance experience
- State specific Insurance License
- Experience as an underwriting clerk or three years of general insurance experience
- Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
- Ability to use carrier software and maintain industry knowledge
