Job Summary
A company is looking for a Student Payments Collections Advisor (temporary).
Key Responsibilities
- Contact students regarding unpaid tuition fees and discuss solutions to meet payment obligations
- Maintain positive relationships with students while providing accurate information about payment options
- Document interactions and generate reports on collection efforts and outstanding balances
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience, or an associate degree with at least 1 year of experience
- Previous experience in student accounts, financial aid, collections, or customer service
- Empathy and patience when dealing with students facing financial difficulties
- Strong negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of relevant regulations governing student debt collection
