Substation Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify electrical layout and plan drawings for substation equipment and structures
• Prepare electrical schematics and complete electrical wiring design drawings
• Review vendor equipment drawings and collaborate with other disciplines to complete assigned work

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field preferred
• 4+ years of direct substation physical and electrical design experience using CAD software
• Solid comprehension of 2D and 3D design software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD
• Experience with Windows-based software like Word and Excel
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with multi-discipline groups
