Sustaining Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sustaining Engineer (Golang, Kubernetes).

Key Responsibilities

• Become an expert in Cloud Native Platform technologies and customer deployment environments
• Research software patch requirements and develop features in Golang for the Cloud Platform
• Engage with product engineering teams to resolve technical issues related to Docker/Kubernetes

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of experience in Software Development, Technical Support, or Sustaining Engineering
• Knowledge of Go programming language is essential
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SLES)
• Extensive experience troubleshooting remote Linux system issues
