Systems Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer III responsible for complex problem troubleshooting and advanced production support for the systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by testing software, patches, and upgrades, while resolving complex problems and maintaining application administration
• Enhance systems by monitoring performance, automating tasks, and improving technical infrastructure
• Maintain technical expertise through research and education, while effectively communicating technical information to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Programming, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
• Preferred education includes a Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Red Hat Linux, AIX, and Windows 2019 or greater
• Knowledge of relational database management systems and multi-platform programs such as DB2 and SQL Server
• Ability to be on call 24/7
