A company is looking for a Director, Tax Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and advise on tax impacts of business initiatives across various jurisdictions
- Review transaction documents and prepare tax accounting policy memos
- Collaborate with financial planning teams and monitor tax legislative developments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a quantitative background
- 10-15 years of tax experience, including at least 10 years in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. insurance company taxation and statutory accounting
- Familiarity with Bermuda corporate income tax and OECD Pillar Two regimes is preferred
- CPA, MBA, or FSA designation is preferred
