A company is looking for a Technical Editor & Document Control Support professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit technical documents for clarity, formatting, and adherence to style guides
- Support internal teams by formatting documents to meet corporate and quality standards
- Assist with maintaining and updating documentation databases and electronic file management systems
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Technical Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a technical editor, with demonstrated ability to edit complex technical content
- At least 1-2 years of experience in document control and records management within a structured system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint); familiarity with document control systems preferred
- Understanding of or experience with quality assurance frameworks such as 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1
