Technical Product Owner, CA

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Product Owner (TPO) for Preferred Drug List (PDL) solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the full product lifecycle for PDL solutions from strategy and design to delivery and optimization
• Define and communicate a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead backlog prioritization and sprint planning to ensure timely delivery of high-impact features

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner in Healthcare or Pharmacy Domains
• 4+ years of experience with PDL or Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM)
• Prior hands-on programming experience, especially in cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large healthcare datasets
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and experience leading Agile teams
