Temporary Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative (Temporary - Part-time).

Key Responsibilities

• Review unpaid invoices assigned in the ETM System and identify potential problem areas
• Contact appropriate carriers to inquire about unpaid claims via websites and phone calls
• Participate in monthly meetings and communicate unusual circumstances affecting claims processing

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of previous medical billing experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of physician billing and healthcare reimbursement, with Medicare and Medicaid preferred
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Must be computer literate, with Microsoft Office preferred
