Key Responsibilities
  • Process member payments, update member information, and handle policy terminations and reinstatements
  • Provide accurate information on coverage plans, assist with prior authorizations, and update claims statuses
  • Maintain confidentiality, escalate complex issues, and contribute to team success through collaboration
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least two years of experience in claims examination, health insurance, or customer service
  • Solid understanding of healthcare terminology, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
  • Ability to clear a criminal background check
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
