Job Summary
A company is looking for a Gifted & Talented (GT) Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the identification, placement, and service of GT students in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Provide training and support to teachers on differentiating instruction for GT students and organize professional development opportunities
- Maintain communication with parents and community stakeholders regarding GT programming and advocate for the needs of gifted students
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (required)
- Master's degree in Gifted Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Leadership (preferred)
- 30-hour core GT Gifted/Talented training or endorsement (required or as per state requirement)
- Minimum 3-5 years teaching experience, preferably with gifted students
- Strong knowledge of gifted education theory, research, and instructional practices
