Texas Licensed Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist II to perform advanced level billing responsibilities within the Revenue Cycle Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a monthly average of 150 encounters per day
• Perform charge review, reconciliation, and manual charge entry
• Ensure department adheres to a six-day metric

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of medical billing or collections experience
• Coding certifications (CPC, CPMA, CMC, ART, RRA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA) preferred
• Knowledge of carrier regulations and internal revenue cycle coding processes
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing rules
