Texas Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Formulary Pharmacist - Government Programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing formularies and preferred drug lists in compliance with CMS Medicare Part D guidelines
• Contribute to the development of clinical reports and participate in formulary analyses and pharmacoeconomic studies
• Collaborate with medical directors and staff to execute clinical initiatives and coordinate educational programs

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy required
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
• Current unrestricted registered pharmacist license
• 5+ years of experience working for a Health Plan or PBM, with 3+ years in Medicare
• Experience in formulary development and maintenance preferred
