Texas Licensed RX Refill Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an RX Refill Specialist to support patient access to prescription services and collaborate with medical providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription refill requests via calls, live chat, and electronic transmissions
• Maintain accurate documentation of all prescription interactions in the EMR
• Collaborate with providers and pharmacies to ensure timely medication delivery

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician course and/or Medical Assistant training program
• Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Pharmacy Technician licensure/certification (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant roles, focusing on prescription refills (preferred)
• Experience using EMR systems, preferably Athena Health
