Trading Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trading Analyst - Battery Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support trading activities and operations under the guidance of the VP, Trading & Risk
• Analyze and improve trading activities across various markets and conditions
• Assist in developing price forecasts and optimizing trading strategies based on market data

Required Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in a quantitative discipline; Computer Science preferred
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience in the energy sector
• Power settlement experience is strongly preferred; ERCOT and ISO-NE experience a plus
• Proficiency in Excel with Python, SQL, and PowerBI preferred
• Ability to commute to the office in The Woodlands, Texas
