Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Medical Director Orthopedics, available in on-call or full-time positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Render clinical opinions on medical conditions, procedures, and treatments under review
• Interact with attending physicians regarding potential decertification and related matters
• Provide timely subject matter expertise to clinical reviewers, case managers, and consultants

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Active, current, valid, and unrestricted M.D. or D.O license in the State of Washington
• Board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Orthopedics
• Minimum of 7 years of medical practice experience
• Possess qualifications to render clinical opinions as determined by the National Medical Director or designee
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite
