Washington Licensed Middle School English Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Middle School Teacher, English (6-8).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live virtual lessons aligned with Washington State Standards for English Language Arts for grades 6-8
• Develop and administer assessments to monitor student learning and provide individualized support as needed
• Collaborate with curriculum specialists and other teachers to enhance the English Language Arts curriculum

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in English, English Education, Literature, or a related field
• A valid Washington teaching license with an endorsement in English Language Arts (grades 6-8) or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a Middle School setting
• Experience utilizing online learning platforms and educational technology tools
• Residency in the state of Washington is required
