A company is looking for a Claims Examiner to manage insurance claims processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and process insurance claims received electronically or in written form
- Evaluate claims and verify policyholder information to determine claim eligibility
- Investigate claims, negotiate settlements, and process payments as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Fellowship of Life Health Claims (FLHC) Certification preferred
- Two or more years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting, contracts, or information technology
- Experience with insurance and/or medical terminology
- Familiarity with claims processing procedures and documentation
