Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager, Writing Test Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and evaluation of Writing test items and ancillary materials for large-scale assessments
- Manage test development staff and provide feedback to ensure adherence to item specifications and quality control
- Coordinate pilot testing, data analysis, and the creation of scoring materials for the Writing test
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field with at least two years of relevant experience
- Expertise in written English language development for K-12 multilingual learners or proficiency assessments
- Experience supervising test item development in a high-stakes context
- Familiarity with K-12 education standards and practices
- Proficiency in a language other than English is preferred
