Writing Test Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Writing Test Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and evaluation of Writing test items and ancillary materials for large-scale assessments
• Manage test development staff and provide feedback to ensure adherence to item specifications and quality control
• Coordinate pilot testing, data analysis, and the creation of scoring materials for the Writing test

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with at least two years of relevant experience
• Expertise in written English language development for K-12 multilingual learners or proficiency assessments
• Experience supervising test item development in a high-stakes context
• Familiarity with K-12 education standards and practices
• Proficiency in a language other than English is preferred
