Reddit is seeking detail-oriented, fast-typing individuals to join our team as Remote Transcriptionists. In this role, you’ll be transcribing podcasts, community AMAs, recorded meetings, and audio-based content into accurate, high-quality text. If you’re a grammar nerd who loves the internet (and spends way too much time on r/AskReddit), this one’s for you.

🔊 What You’ll Do:

• Transcribe Reddit’s internal and external audio content accurately and efficiently

• Format transcriptions for readability, clarity, and tone consistency

• Ensure proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation

• Tag speakers, label sections, and follow Reddit’s content style guide

• Work closely with Reddit content, accessibility, and marketing teams to support transcription needs

• Meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Strong typing skills (60+ WPM preferred)

• Impeccable grammar, spelling, and attention to detail

• Previous transcription experience or training preferred (but not required)

• Familiarity with Reddit culture, lingo, and popular subreddits is a major plus

• Comfortable working with audio tools like Otter, Descript, or Rev (bonus!)

• Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
