Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tutor (Remote) to join their candidate pool for future open roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions using the Socratic method to foster student independence and critical thinking skills
• Be available to tutor between Sunday and Thursday evenings, based on student demand
• Complete onboarding and training within 2-5 business days, including a short unpaid session

Required Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise or advanced knowledge through an undergraduate or graduate degree or relevant professional experience
• Access to reliable high-speed Internet and a quiet environment for conducting sessions
• Excellent academic performance in undergraduate or graduate studies
• Minimum availability of 2-5 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters
• Preferred background in teaching methodology or prior tutoring experience at the college level
