Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to contribute to security practices and controls in technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in threat modeling exercises and document risks and recommendations
• Consult on security control design and validate effectiveness during system development
• Support security operations by contributing scripts, automation, or analysis tooling

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 0-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or a related technical role
• Exposure to secure design principles and security architecture concepts
• Experience or strong interest in scripting, automation, or tooling for security operations
• Familiarity with security frameworks and methodologies (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
