Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to design and implement security solutions for cloud workloads and networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, test, implement, and configure security tools and services for cloud environments
• Collaborate with Product and IT teams to implement cohesive security solutions
• Automate security processes and integrate security tools to enhance monitoring and response capabilities

Required Qualifications

• MS/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and knowledge of securing hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their security offerings
• Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Monitoring Agent, Microsoft Defender, and Prisma Cloud
• Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages like Powershell, Python, Bash, or Go
