Security Operations Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Analyst II to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts and reports from company systems
• Develop and implement policies for security alerts and maintain dashboards for metrics
• Collaborate with SOC and MSSPs to ensure effective alert scoping and response

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security/Cyber Security
• Three or more years of experience in an Information Security or related technical role
• Experience with logging methods and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA
• Technical security certifications preferred; non-technical certifications a plus
• Security-relevant knowledge of Active Directory, Linux, Windows OSs, and TCP/IP
