Senior Back-End Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join their R&D group.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop APIs for modern, cross-platform single-page applications
• Participate in product design and planning discussions, contributing architectural ideas
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm, set targets, and devise solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of back-end development experience with Ruby on Rails
• Solid understanding of Ruby syntax and ability to write clean, readable code
• Experience building APIs with a focus on authentication and role-based access
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Knowledge of server-side architecture best practices and the HTTP protocol
